Mr. von Schwangau rose up as a child of an aristocratic family in Germany A vampire came near this family an tried to make him a vampire, as Friedrich was the heir of the complete wealth. The original plan was to make Friedrich a fledge and to dwell with him, while Friedrich would provide the money. Actually the vampire went terribly wrong. Friedrich did not break the bond, he simply not took it. When the vampire got aware of this, he tried to kill him, but Friedrich managed to call his servants, which managed to capture the weakened vampire, as the procedure has sapped the vampires powers very much. Friedrich noticed a change in his body, but could not identify it, so he started questioning the prisoner. The
vampire, half mad because he lacked the blood which he lost during the initiation with Friedrich, told him many things, which Friedrich only slowly believed. But after a quick gaze into a mirror and watching the vampire sucking a rat managed to convince him and made him accepting his nature. The first thing he did was burn the vampire, After that he locked himself up in his chamber for two hole nights , leaving his completely confused family outside, not hearing any of their pledges to let them in. Finally, on the second night, he called for his father and mother. He had made a
decision. Both of them were pragmatic, he knew that, and both were aristocrats who wanted to keep their wealth in this world of chaos (it was the time of the napoleon an wars). He told them what has happened. They did not believe it. He show them his limited powers, they were shocked. But after all, Friedrich was right: they calmed down their religious believes and accepted him - slowly, very slowly. Their reluctance towards him lessened, when he helped them several times to keep their wealth (e.g. he killed several of their enemies, using his supernatural powers and
charmed others to convince them). Over the time, a strange symbiosis between his families (including later generations) and him began. The family helped him in hiding himself from the prying eyes of vampire hunters and other vampires and gave him companionship, while he offered them
protection. He studied vampires a long time, but never really dwelled long enough in cities to meet others. About 10 years before present time, he wanted to explore other vampires, as he was curious about them - and he was now confident enough about his powers. He entered Legend, because
he thought, it would bear many vampires, and would bear many possibilities to interact with them. He spent 5 years just watching the and trying to get into contact with other vampires. Then, when he started comprehending the social structure, he entered the scene - with a self confidence able to crush anyone (He still lives in the aristocratic world he once lived in, regarding him as a Baron and you as nothing). In order not not arouse too much jealousy he cached the interest of a small coven and easily making himself the master of it.
