PLAYER: This is simply where you put your real name. Your first name will do just fine, or a net nickname.
CHARACTER NAME: Put your character's name here.
NICKNAME: Does your character have a nickname, and if so, what is it?
TYPE: Ok, this is where you will put what your character is, vampire, werewolf, hunter, or other.
AGE: How old is your character? Please be aware that the oldest vampires in the world of Legend are around 600 years. There are no ancient vampires as player characters.
GENDER: Is your character male or female?
HAIR/EYE COLOR: Try and keep it within human normal unless you're making a supernatural character.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This is where you will describe what your character looks like. Include height, weight, and your character's style of clothing. Be creative, and be as detailed as possible. These are important things to know so everyone else playing will have a general idea what your character looks like.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Tattoos? Missing limbs/eyes? Scars? Anything someone would be able to add to a composite sketch of your character if he saw your character on the street.
BACKGROUND: Give a brief history of your character. Where did he/she come from? How did he/she become what they are? Is he/she good at what they do (if a hunter) or particularly good at surviving/pretending to be human (if a were or vamp)? Give at least two points that can be used later as 'plot hooks'.
MOTIVATION: What motivates your character? Why is he/she mixed up in (or, alternatively, not mixed up in) the supernatural side of Legend's dark underworld? Again, give at least two plot hooks.
COMBAT: What combat related skills does your character have? What kinds of weapons does he/she prefer to carry, and why? Feel free to be a little wild here- while realism is good, Legend does get quite violent on occasion.
OTHER INFORMATION: Here is where you will put other tidbits of information that may be important to know. Allergies? Likes/dislikes? Special skills? You get the idea.
POST FREQUENCY: This is where you solemnly swear to post at least two to three times a week. More than this is ok; also, let us know when you'll generally be able to post.
WRITING SAMPLE: Write a two to five paragraph scene about your character. This can be anything you like, as long as it shows off a key point of the character- such as the first time a werewolf character transformed, a vampire was Turned, or a hunter encountered the supernatural. Or set it as a sort of 'prologue' to your character arriving in Legend- it's up to you.
NOTE: While we'd like every person who submits a character form to join Legend, some standards must be met. Please spell check and edit your own work prior to submitting it. Also, we reserve the right to ask you to revise or scrap any character that is deemed inappropriate for the list.
